Variables, timers & polls
Drive live, changing values onto the stage without re-sending a scene.
Variables
Define room-wide variables (number, text or table) and reference them in text layers with [VariableName]. At render time GLOstiq substitutes the live value, so updating the variable updates every screen instantly.
Renaming a variable updates all the places that reference it.
Table variables hold rows with custom columns and per-row images — handy for driving live image layers.
Edit values live from the Livedata tab. See Playback & live data.
Timers
Create timers and drop them on the stage as timer layers (or via [TimerName] in text). Types include stopwatch, countdown, count up from / down to an instant, and milestone (count down to a date, then up after).
Formats: ss, mm:ss, hh:mm:ss, h:mm:ss.
Start, stop, reset and nudge timers live; they tick on the synced clock so every screen agrees.
Polls
Create a question with up to four options in the poll library.
Set it as the active question for the room.
Add a poll layer to a sequence to show live bars, or a results layer for the final tally.
Watch votes aggregate live; reset votes to run it again.
