Sequences overview

Understand colour modes and how to create, duplicate and organise sequences.

The three colour modes

Everything you send falls into one of three modes:

Solid — one flat colour, dispatched instantly (this is what Easy Mode sends).

Sequence — a timed multi-step colour timeline with fades, crossfades and hold times.

Random — pick a random colour from a palette on each interval, for a sparkle effect across the crowd.

Working with sequences

The Sequencing tab holds a grid of sequence cards. Each card is a reusable show element you can open in the timeline editor.

1

Create a new blank sequence, or duplicate an existing one to start from a copy (images and references come along).

2

Open a card to edit it in the timeline. See The timeline editor.

3

Reorder sequences by dragging — this is safe even when other operators are editing at the same time.

Tip

Each sequence is stored on its own, so editing one sequence never disturbs another. Multiple operators can build different sequences in parallel.
