Geofencing a room
Restrict a room to a physical venue with a location radius.
Enable and configure
Geofencing locks a room to a physical area so only people at the venue can see the show. Configure it from the room's geofence settings (Statistics tab, or /room/<code>/geofence).
Turn on Enable geofencing.
Give the location a name (e.g. "Main Stage").
Enter the venue's latitude and longitude.
Set the radius in metres (default 1000m).
Save the configuration.
What participants experience
With geofencing off, the room always works regardless of location.
With it on, participants are asked for location permission and only see content when they're inside the radius; otherwise they get an out of bounds message.

Set the radius generously — GPS accuracy drops indoors and in dense crowds. See the participant guide: Location access.
