Playback & live data

Run sequences at show time and drive live variables, timers and polls.

Running playback

The Livedata tab is your show-time cockpit. Select a sequence and drive it live.

1

Select a sequence in the playback panel.

2

Use the spacebar (or the on-screen controls) to play, continue and stop.

3

Play can stack sequences so several run at once; continue resumes from a marker; stop unloads.

Set a default Stop all sequence so the room never goes dark between cues.

Playback state is shared — you can see which operator is currently driving the stage.

Live variables, timers and polls

Livedata also exposes the live values that your sequences can display. These update the crowd instantly without re-sending a whole scene.

Variables — edit live numbers and text (each change is a tiny write, no scene re-dispatch).

Timers — create and control stopwatches and countdowns, ticking on the synced clock.

Polls — set the active question and watch live vote tallies come in.

Note

To make these appear on screen, add timer, poll or [Variable] text layers in a sequence. See Variables, timers & polls.
